perfectible | (no subject)

[ She does well to distract him, which is probably a good thing right now. He kisses her happily, pulling back only so he can pull off his flannel shirt and tee, tossing them to the floor with little care. This is the first time both of them have been completely topless in bed and he has to pause for just a moment to catch his breath - too hot, and getting hotter. He leans back in to kiss her, one hand moving up her side to gently - nervously - cup a breast. ]

[ The next few movements are a bit frantic on both of their parts, a tangle of limbs while they both work on getting his shirts off then it's back to kissing. Her breathing studders against his lips when his hand finally slides up her body to touch her, a warm hand resting over her chest. Another first for her.

Her eyes flutter and she arches encouragingly into the touch, one hand moving to touch his face, finding this all a little surreal. But in the best way. She hums softly into the kiss now, her free hand moving to slide down along his spine and back up again, every movement she makes is meant to encourage him and to keep her own nerves in check. ]

[ The idea here is to keep going, slow and steady but definitely keep going because if he slows down too much he might start to really think about this and that way lies nerves and anxiety. The last thing he wants tonight is an interruption, now that they're finally away from everyone else who might distract.

The touch of her hand down his back sends a pleasurable shudder through his body, leaving in a soft sigh against her lips. He does trust her, trusts that what they have is stronger than all the white noise, that they're good and ready for this even if it'll be awkward and fumbling. ]

[ There's no rush here, there's nothing to prove. And most of all, there's nothing keeping them apart. For now. They don't have to be Romeo and Juliet anymore, they can just be Jughead and Betty. He's doing a good job of making her feel comfortable, his words spoken out against her lips make her smile. ]

I love you, Jughead Jones. [ Her hands move now, fingers sliding back down his spine once again, hoping to get one more shudder from him before they find the waistband of his pants. Her fingers dance along the edges until they've circled to his front, working to unfasten them.]

[ She does get another shiver out of him, which to be fair isn't that difficult considering how stimulated he feels right about now. He draws a breath when her fingers find the front of his jeans - this is new. They've had some pretty heavy make outs and he's been in various states of undress around here before, but nothing with this much intent. It makes him nervous and excited all at once, nerves humming with anticipation. ]

[ For all that she is nervous, it's actually not that hard to get his jeans open and unfastened. It's just once she gets that done, her brain sort of stutters. Okay, yes, the two of them both being completely topless is farther than they've ever gone before but she's about to take a much bigger step.

Her eyes open to look at him then, just briefly, her breathing labored. ] Okay, [ she says it aloud without really meaning to, a smile curving her lips.

She's got this.

There's a swell of confidence that strikes her and she moves to push at his jeans, trying to get them lower on his hips before she speaks again.] Off. [ One hand moves to push at her dress which has just been pooled at her waist right now.] And this too.

[ He furrows his brows a bit at that contextless okay and then she's pushing at his jeans, which erases any other stray thought he might've had. He can practically see the confidence rise in her and honestly, it's a bit of a turn-on. Betty's always been good at taking action and right now he's grateful for it, rolling off her for a moment so he can get his jeans off. If she hasn't already gotten the dress out of the way, that'll be his next target. ]

[ By the time he's got his jeans kicked off, she's managed to shimmy the dress down her body. He doesn't need to do all of the work, after all. And despite feeling very exposed, left in nothing but the lacy underwear that perfectly matched her now-discard bra, she doesn't make a cover herself or move to hide under the blankets yet.

And maybe that's a clear indicator of how much she trusts him, how she understands that he thinks she's beautiful even when sometimes she struggles to know she is.]

[ If there was ever any doubt about how beautiful he thinks she is, the way he looks at her now should chase those doubts away. Laboured breath, wide eyes, a gentle tremble in his hands as he scootches closer to run one of them down her side, leans in to kiss her again. ]

[ The way he looks at her is a little overwhelming but in the best way, she feels heat run through her veins and she looks at him too, smiles at the way he looks. She rolls a little more onto her side in order to get closer to him, pulling him in with a hand at the back of his head, fingers curling against his scalp.

She whispers his name lovingly against his lips before she shifts a little more, trying to urge him back onto his back.]

[ He curls an arm around her back when she shifts closer, holding it there for support as they roll over. Getting her weight on top of him again feels better than it has any right to be and he can't help but roll his hips up against her with a soft noise. ]

[ There's a flurry of things she's feeling, nerves and desire and love and want. She's dizzy with it as she settles above him, feeling her heart skip a few beats in her chest and her breathing catch in her lungs. She makes her move after he grinds his hips against hers a little, moving to slip one hand between their bodies as she balances herself with the other.

Her hand finds his boxers and she opens her eyes to look at him, breaking the kiss for a moment so she can concentrate as her fingers slip beneath the waistband of the last remaining fabric on his body. She fumbles her way through it, a little until she finds what she's seeking out, the sensation of feeling the evidence of his arousal entirely foreign to her as fingertips slide along sensitive skin. ]

[ His stomach is flip-flopping with excitement and anxiety as her hand makes its way down between them, the feeling intensifying with every inch she moves and then she's touching him and oh God oh God. He draws a breath, eyes sliding partially closed and fingers curling against her skin. Ah, shit. ]

Betty...

[ She stops when he says her name, when his fingers curl against her skin. For a moment, the well-won confidence seems to dim and she looks at him, a little worried, hopeful that she isn't doing something he doesn't want her to do. ] Is this alright? It feels okay?

Yeah. Yes. [ He has to stop and clear his throat, it's so raspy. Smiling gently he moves a hand up to stroke along her neck. ] It's good.

Okay, [ she breathes the word out, smiling a little before she leans down to kiss him, her hand becoming bolder. Arching her hips a little more off the bed, her hand leaves him briefly so she can tug at his boxers a little, pulling them down enough that she doesn't have to battle with fabric to touch him.

She doesn't look down yet, she simply kisses him and works blind. Once she's able, her hand returns to him, her thumb sliding experimentally along the underside of his arousal. Her voice is a soft, ragged whisper against his lips.] Good. [ She kisses him softly again before speaking softly, a teasing smile curving her lips--] What should we do now?

[ In a way he appreciates the gentle touches. They're light enough to keep him from getting too wound up too quickly, but on the other hand they're also kind of driving him crazy here. She's toying with him and he knows it, a soft groan of frustration spilling past his lips. ]

Hn, Betty... [ She's not the only one with her hands free. He slides his down over her back, settling in at her hips, thumbs hooking under the edge of those lacy underwear. ]

[ Maybe she shouldn't get as much satisfaction from that frustrated groan as she does but she can't help it. It's a bit of an ego boost to know that what she is doing is the reason for that sound, is the reason he croaks out her name like he does.

He doesn't answer her question with any other words, he simply lets his hands wander. Her eyes flutter a little when they move lower, a shaky sigh escaping her lips. Her fingers stop for a moment before they curl around him, feeling emboldened by his own movements.]

Are you ready? [ Is that what he's trying to say? ]

Yes. I mean, I could wait... [ But she doesn't have to wait for him, if that's what she's asking. He's not in any rush but also the amount of time he feels he needs to approach the main event, as it was, is shrinking rapidly.

Lips brushing against hers in not-quite-a-kiss, he continues to slide her underwear down. ]

[ He's shimmying her underwear downward and there's only so far it can go before she has to move and then things get really, really. She nods at his words, smiles against his lips and pulls back, gently withdrawing her touch. She climbs off of him then, the butterflies in her stomach suddenly going insane as she leans over to the nightstand to pull out the condoms she'd procured but also a bottle of lubricant.

Betty's done her research, obviously.

Breathing feels harder to do suddenly as she glances at him and finally sees him there, almost completely naked, hard and ready to go. Heat rises in her cheeks and she offers him the condoms and lube.] I thought it might help.

[ It's then that she finally opts to get underneath the bedspread, tugging down the fabric and getting beneath it, knowing he'd join her as she got her panties the rest of the way off, kicking them towards the foot of the bed.]

[ Oh boy. As ready as he was, things are getting very real all of a sudden, like when you're at the top of a rollercoaster and realise how high up you actually are and how there's really no going back now - not that he'd want to. It's thrilling and scary, especially when she looks at him like that. ]

Good thinking. [ His voice feels so tight and he's somewhat grateful for the respite - her getting under the covers while he strips down the rest of the way and fiddles with the condom. Luckily it's not his first time getting one on, there may have been some experimenting in privacy and good thing too or this would be even more awkward. Prepped and ready, he joins her under the covers, lube within easy reach. ]

[ She may not know that Jughead had done some practicing before this but she does know that she's grateful that nothing seems to go wrong with it , with him putting it on, like she's seen in teen comedies or tv. Condoms always seemed to be a teenage boy's foe.

But here they finally are, beneath the covers, naked and about to have sex.

Desperately trying not to be nervous, to show that she is, she moves closer to him, rolling on her side to face him. ] I love you, no matter what.

[ They've been serious for awhile now and after that moment in the trailer he figured it was only a matter of time. You do your research, you practice what you can so when the time comes, you don't make a complete fool of yourself. Of course, that reassurance makes him wonder if he's about to do that anyway. ]

I love you too. [ He slides an arm around her back, hand between her shoulder blades, holding her close. ] ...are you sure about this? Is this okay?

[ She meant her words in a broader sense. She meant them in that she will love him no matter what happens. In any situation, she's going to love him. ]

Yes, [ she breathes out with a smile.] Jug, I want this. I want you. All of you.

[ Any other moment and he would probably have picked up on that. No point in dwelling on it when they have so many other things they could be doing - hearing her give consent again floods him with warmth and affection. He closes the distance between them, kissing her hungrily and making a start to roll her over onto her back. ]
