Yeah. Yes. [ He has to stop and clear his throat, it's so raspy. Smiling gently he moves a hand up to stroke along her neck. ] It's good.

Okay, [ she breathes the word out, smiling a little before she leans down to kiss him, her hand becoming bolder. Arching her hips a little more off the bed, her hand leaves him briefly so she can tug at his boxers a little, pulling them down enough that she doesn't have to battle with fabric to touch him.

She doesn't look down yet, she simply kisses him and works blind. Once she's able, her hand returns to him, her thumb sliding experimentally along the underside of his arousal. Her voice is a soft, ragged whisper against his lips.] Good. [ She kisses him softly again before speaking softly, a teasing smile curving her lips--] What should we do now?

[ In a way he appreciates the gentle touches. They're light enough to keep him from getting too wound up too quickly, but on the other hand they're also kind of driving him crazy here. She's toying with him and he knows it, a soft groan of frustration spilling past his lips. ]

Hn, Betty... [ She's not the only one with her hands free. He slides his down over her back, settling in at her hips, thumbs hooking under the edge of those lacy underwear. ]

[ Maybe she shouldn't get as much satisfaction from that frustrated groan as she does but she can't help it. It's a bit of an ego boost to know that what she is doing is the reason for that sound, is the reason he croaks out her name like he does.

He doesn't answer her question with any other words, he simply lets his hands wander. Her eyes flutter a little when they move lower, a shaky sigh escaping her lips. Her fingers stop for a moment before they curl around him, feeling emboldened by his own movements.]

Are you ready? [ Is that what he's trying to say? ]

Yes. I mean, I could wait... [ But she doesn't have to wait for him, if that's what she's asking. He's not in any rush but also the amount of time he feels he needs to approach the main event, as it was, is shrinking rapidly.

Lips brushing against hers in not-quite-a-kiss, he continues to slide her underwear down. ]

[ He's shimmying her underwear downward and there's only so far it can go before she has to move and then things get really, really. She nods at his words, smiles against his lips and pulls back, gently withdrawing her touch. She climbs off of him then, the butterflies in her stomach suddenly going insane as she leans over to the nightstand to pull out the condoms she'd procured but also a bottle of lubricant.

Betty's done her research, obviously.

Breathing feels harder to do suddenly as she glances at him and finally sees him there, almost completely naked, hard and ready to go. Heat rises in her cheeks and she offers him the condoms and lube.] I thought it might help.

[ It's then that she finally opts to get underneath the bedspread, tugging down the fabric and getting beneath it, knowing he'd join her as she got her panties the rest of the way off, kicking them towards the foot of the bed.]

[ Oh boy. As ready as he was, things are getting very real all of a sudden, like when you're at the top of a rollercoaster and realise how high up you actually are and how there's really no going back now - not that he'd want to. It's thrilling and scary, especially when she looks at him like that. ]

Good thinking. [ His voice feels so tight and he's somewhat grateful for the respite - her getting under the covers while he strips down the rest of the way and fiddles with the condom. Luckily it's not his first time getting one on, there may have been some experimenting in privacy and good thing too or this would be even more awkward. Prepped and ready, he joins her under the covers, lube within easy reach. ]

[ She may not know that Jughead had done some practicing before this but she does know that she's grateful that nothing seems to go wrong with it , with him putting it on, like she's seen in teen comedies or tv. Condoms always seemed to be a teenage boy's foe.

But here they finally are, beneath the covers, naked and about to have sex.

Desperately trying not to be nervous, to show that she is, she moves closer to him, rolling on her side to face him. ] I love you, no matter what.

[ They've been serious for awhile now and after that moment in the trailer he figured it was only a matter of time. You do your research, you practice what you can so when the time comes, you don't make a complete fool of yourself. Of course, that reassurance makes him wonder if he's about to do that anyway. ]

I love you too. [ He slides an arm around her back, hand between her shoulder blades, holding her close. ] ...are you sure about this? Is this okay?

[ She meant her words in a broader sense. She meant them in that she will love him no matter what happens. In any situation, she's going to love him. ]

Yes, [ she breathes out with a smile.] Jug, I want this. I want you. All of you.

[ Any other moment and he would probably have picked up on that. No point in dwelling on it when they have so many other things they could be doing - hearing her give consent again floods him with warmth and affection. He closes the distance between them, kissing her hungrily and making a start to roll her over onto her back. ]

[ She takes his direction for now, eager to get back into the moment, to get lost in kissing him again. Shifting, she moves to lay back against the pillows, one hand moving to stay at his shoulder, the other moves to slide down his back, helping him to settle between her thighs.

She walks the line between scared and excited, but she knows the first time isn't always the best experience but most of all, she knows that Jughead won't do anything to hurt her, that he will take it as easy and slow as she needs him to because he's Jughead Jones, the wonderful, gentle-hearted boy who loves her.]

[ He settles in with care, propping himself up between her legs, leaving some space between them so he can move a hand down her body. Slow and steady, so they have the best chance at getting this right. Staying close, he moves his hand lower with some caution, heart hammering so hard in his chest when he finally slides his fingers down between her legs. ]

[ She takes in a shaky, pleased breath when he touches her, her eyes falling shut as she shifts beneath him, legs parting to give him more room to move. This is the first time a hand, other than her own, has touched her there and it feels strange but not unwelcome.

The hand at his back finds his face instead, drawing his mouth closer to her own.]

[ He kisses her softly, if a little clumsily, his hand moving in a gentle rhythm and he's at least making an attempt to pay attention to any kind of reaction she might have. He wants to do good at this, of course, but even more so he wants to avoid hurting her in any way. ]

Is this okay?

Mmmyeah, [ she murmurs it against his lips, pulling back to give him his concentration. But even then, she moves to guide him, one hand reaching down to help guide his fingers to where it will make her feel best. And when he touches her just right, she draws in a sharp breath, her hand leaving his to return to his back.]

Right there.

[ He swallows, kind of blown away by what's going on here, like it's an out of body experience - very much present in the moment while simultaneously having a hard time believing it's actually happening. He continues to touch her, finding a good rhythm. ]

Let me know when...

[ Betty isn't sure when is when (oh, there will be a time she does) but for now, she kisses him a few more times, moves with his touches with gentle rocks of her hips. She feels excited, she feels heat pooling in all the right places and she thinks maybe she's ready. Ready as she can be.

She nods, feeling like her heart might beat right out of her chest right about now.] When.

Okay. [ He pulls away, reaching for the lube and then realising that for this to work he needs at least one more arm free, unless he wants to sit back on his heels while he's slicking up and that's way too much of a show than he's comfortable with at this stage. He makes a noise of amusement at how much more complicated this is than the movies let on, and then turn to her. ]

Could you...? [ Help. ]

[ She nods, reaching to take the bottle from him. It can't be much different than touching him, after all. And well, she'd be grateful for it here in a little while, if everything she'd read about first times was true. Her brow furrows as she gets the bottle open and squirts some on her hand. She can't help the face she makes, half-amused, half-intrigued at the way it feels in her fingers. ]

Okay, [ she murmurs as she reaches down to gently run her slick fingers over the condom, her head tilting up to kiss him and distract them both from how awkward this was. Or well, at least distract her, she didn't think he'd mind being touched again, given his previous reaction.

After a moment, she adds more to her fingers and shifts beneath him, grateful for the cover that the blanket provides as she arches her hips a little and well, touches herself, biting her lip and closing her eyes as she does. ]

[ No, he definitely doesn't mind her touching him. It probably doesn't hurt to top him off a bit, between the nerves and not getting any stimulation for a little bit he was running a low risk of faltering, but that quickly stops being an issue.

He breathes out slowly at the odd sensation of being touched-but-not-touched through the condom, heart pounding with anticipation at how closely they're inching towards their goal. He can practically feel it skip a beat when he realises what she's doing, has to restrain himself from saying something stupid about how beautiful she is in this moment, instead leaning in to kiss her face, shoulder, neck - whatever he can reach where he's not in the way. ]

[ They are almost there. Almost there. And when he starts to kiss her, she wraps her free hand around his neck, dragging him in for a lingering kiss, the hand touching herself moving away finally. She draws out the kiss for a moment later before she barely moves half-an-inch away from his lips, wanting to stay close for just another moment.]

Okay, [ she nods, letting her hand slide down to his shoulder as the other slips beneath the pillow behind her head, curling against the fabric of the pillowcase.]

[ He swallows, shifts his position so he can get a hand down between them and steady himself. He moves carefully, bottom lip pinched between his teeth in concentration as he carefully nudges, presses, inches his way in with shallow thrusts. Slow and steady, he doesn't want to hurt her even though he'll always worry that he already has. ]

[ At first, it's nothing. Or well, it's not nothing but it doesn't hurt like everyone's warned her about. She feels overstretched and warm but it's...

A soft, involuntary sound of protest escapes her lips a moment later when she feels the uncomfortable sort of pressure. Her face moves to bury itself against his jaw, her hand clutches at his shoulder and her voice is tight with emotion. Because while it doesn't feel great, it's nowhere close to unbearable.] Keep going.

[ He wants to protest but she's made it pretty clear in the past how she feels about him making decisions about her safety for her, so if she wants him to keep going he will, for now. Breath caught in his throat, he shifts his position a little bit and tries again, slow and steady. It feels pretty good, even if those nerves haven't calmed down much. ]
