I know. [ She smiles at him, reaching up to touch his cheek just because she can.] Before coming here, I hadn't even been on a plane. Now... I've been to space. [ She laughs a little before she presses a light kiss to his lips and then pulls back to take one of his hands so they can walk.]

If you could go anywhere here, where would you go?

[ He holds her hand, thumb rubbing idly over the back of it as they walk. ]

Is it weird if I say New York? Archie always talked about us moving there after high school. I've never even visited.

[ They were going on a road trip on the fourth of July weekend, but we all know how that turned out. ]

It's not weird, [ she says, glancing at him with a gentle expression. She'd done an internship there last summer. It's an amazing place.]

We should go sometime. We can take my car and go stay in the city overnight.

I like the sound of that. [ He smiles, gives her hand a little squeeze. ] What about you? Where do you want to go?

New York, actually. I want to see what it's like here. If it's different. [ She'd been to the city back home, she imagines it's different here.]

New York it is, then.

...Have you thought about finding Riverdale? [ He's curious but also not sure if he actually wants to know. ]

I didn't know if... I thought that might break something. [ She gives him a sheepish look.]

Like... bumping into someone we know? [ Like time travel? ]

I don't know... [ She looks ahead.] I didn't think anyone else was here. I've posted to the network, so has Reggie. No one from Riverdale responded.

So maybe there are people here, but they don't know us? [ Or didn't see the message. Nah, that sounds stupid. ] Is it weirder if there is a Riverdale or isn't?

[ She laughs lowly because it's a conundrum, his question.] That's a question for the ages. [ She looks at him again.] Do you want to find out? If it exists? I guess we could find a map.

I'm curious. I don't know what I'd do if it's actually still there, but... yeah, I think I want to know.

Would you want to go there?

Maybe? If only to go to the bottom of this mystery.

Maybe after we go to the city, we can drive up.

I like the sound of that. Make it a proper road trip. [ They've never gone on any kind of vacation. Getting away from a while would be good. ]

[ She lets go of his hand and instead, moves to loop her arm through his so she can walk closer to him.]

We can use only maps, [ she grins.] Make it a low-tech road trip. An adventure.

Even better. [ He smiles, gently nudging their shoulders together. ] Drop off the grid for awhile.

How do you feel about the whole ImPort celebrity thing?

[ They probably are the only two teenagers completely comfortable with the idea of dropping off the grid. It sounds refreshing to her, to be honest.

At his question, she shrugs.]

I don't think I'll ever get famous myself, which is fine by me. I think hero worship can be dangerous.

Agreed. [ In so many ways. ] So no one bothers you..?

I haven't done anything particularly heroic. Or showy. [ She glances towards her car that's parked on the street nearby.] I've used my powers to drive my car, to help a few people who have broken down on the road. [ She glances back at him, again a little sheepish.]

When I first got here, I didn't have good control, I sort of... threw a car at a thief but I missed him and he got away.

Wow. Seriously? [ That image makes him happy. ] And that didn't make BlueTube?

Not that I know of. [ And she has looked. She wants to keep a low profile if she can help it.]

It was pretty embarrassing. [ But it was how she met the friends she has now.]

I can imagine. [ Kind of sad it didn't make it to video. ] Any other vehicular mishaps I should know about?

Besides overheated engines and losing control of my car briefly, a few times...? No.
